Welcome to The Arts Society New Forest

The Arts Society New Forest meets monthly for interesting and often amusing talks on a wide variety of arts subjects. The talks are given by lecturers with the finest credentials in their specialist fields. All our lecturers have been accredited by the Arts Society which ensures a high standard of presentations.

There are ten lectures each year (not July or August)  usually on the second Monday of the month (please check on the Lectures page) at Brockenhurst Village Hall

 In addition to fine art lectures, we offer a broad range of arts related themes. Our musical lectures have included such diverse offerings as The Artwork of the Beatles and Stradivarius. Our lectures can be surprising and unexpected - e.g. recent lectures included political cartoons, Big Ben and Railway Stations. Whatever your interests, each season is different and thought provoking.

The Society also organises a series of events and visits  during the same period. Visits take place to stately homes, art exhibitions, museums or other places of interest. 

We are affiliated to The Arts Society and are part of a network of Arts Societies within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Area which offers further opportunities for visits and study days.  As part of our affiliation, members also receive The Arts Society magazine, and regular e-newsletters including a monthly "Instant Expert" series and information about Lectures at Home.
