We would like to raise your awareness of some interesting local events

The “Lymington Open Gardens” event on Sunday 26th May 2pm to 6pm is organised by The Friends of St Barbe’s Museum, to raise funds  for the Museum.  13 gardens will be open  including 6 new ones. The gardens range from small, urban, courtyard gardens, to more expansive spaces that have nurtured growing families Discover one of Lymington’s original town gardens, while another on the High Street offers an oasis of calm created by church volunteers. The garden owners will be on hand to answer your questions. All profits support the museum and its outreach activities.Tickets are £8 with  programme, from St Barbe’s. Teas with home-made cakes and plant stalls.

 

Another event coming up soon is  “My National Gallery”, an Exhibition on Screen production. The film lasts 1 hour 30 minutes. At The Malt Cinema in Lymington – Tuesday 4th June at 2.30 pm and 7.15pm

Sway Open Gardens are on Sunday June  9th from 11-5- with 17 gardens open to view.  Refreshments and a plant stall will be available in the Church rooms. There will also be a free bus service around the village .Tickets with maps available from Sway Post Office.
